Our mission is to be an innovative services provider with an "Out Of The Box" collaboration of services for individuals with unique circumstances the highest level of INTEGRITY to provide support from childhood to adulthood. We are DEVOTED to equipping each parent with the confidence to make informed choices to improve their lives with positive parenting strategies.

Tenika Combs is an Advocate who works with individuals with various disabilities. After relocating from California to Texas over 10 years ago with a 4-year-old with Autism, Tenika had to maneuver all the roadblocks and acclimate to the services and supports needed to allow her son Bryant to be successful with the transition. Tenika has applied all the knowledge, education, personal experience, and development into helping families with transitional support services in the state of Texas.
Tenika Combs is married to Keith Combs and together have a loving blended family of 6 children and 5 Grandkids, All have played a monumental role in ensuring their role of a sibling with a brother on the Autism Spectrum has a fulfilled inclusive life.
Tenika founded Got Advocacy LLC in 2013. Tenika believes in providing families of individuals with disabilities the resources and support to make informed decisions regarding the transition from childhood to adulthood. Tenika wants families to know that “they are no longer alone in the fight” to get support and services.
Tenika has worked as a Reservist-Disability Integration Advisor for the Department of Homeland Security/FEMA. Tenika has supported colleagues with disabilities working in emergency management with appropriate accommodations. Tenika’s role was to ensure that individuals with disabilities received access to FEMA programs and services before, during, and after disasters. Her role was also to advise senior decision-makers in the field, provide technical assistance to FEMA programs, and to provide training to emergency management to ensure the needs of disaster survivors with disabilities are accounted for and their needs are addressed in the delivery of FEMA programs, services and activities
Tenika spent several years as a Case Manager and Transition Coordinator while assisting individuals with disabilities in institutional care with the transition into the community with supports and services using Medicaid waiver programs with suitable residential options. Tenika also managed individuals' needs as related to their permanency plan on an ongoing basis.
Tenika worked as an HCS (a Medicaid waiver Home and Community Services) Case Manager to ensure the Individual’s plan of care was implemented and carried out with adequate service allotted by the waiver program in support of Transition.
Tenika is a certified Community Rehabilitation provider and certified Vocational Rehabilitation Job Skills Coach and Job Skills trainer contracted with the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC-VR Services).
Tenika is a certified Triple P Parent Trainer Positive Parenting Program, the most effective evidence-based patent program that is comprised of group sessions.
Tenika holds a Bachelor of Computer Information Systems from Devry University.
Tenika is a member of COPAA, the Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates.
